Utah Visit

After spending the last week in Island Park, ID with my family, we drove down to Sandy, UT to spend a week with Derek's family. It was SO much fun. We loved seeing everyone and doing a ton of fun activities.

We went up Mill Creek Canyon one night with Derek's family to have a BBQ. The weather was perfect and the food was delicious! Norah had a blast running around the fire pit area and playing with her many aunts and uncles.

Norah and Grandma Lori. Norah just loves spending time with Grandma Lori... She gets all the attention and books read to her that she wants!

Here's the whole group (well, minus me). We missed you Robyn, Richard, Ellie and Cameron.

On July 24th we had a super fun day just relaxing, playing in the sprinklers and in the kid pool, and later that evening we had a BBQ with all the Thomas side of the family. It was great to see everyone!

After the BBQ we went to watch fireworks and then came back and did some little fireworks in the street. Gotta love Utah's laws! Norah's favorites were the snaps that you throw on the ground. She went through two boxes all on her own!

Man, I almost forgot the best part of the day. Before the BBQ, Grandma Lori planned a little pioneer FHE for the little kids. She had us all sit around a little camp fire (pretend obviously) and wear bonnets and neck scarves and told some stories about the pioneers. It was really cute and Norah really enjoyed it.

Ben and Derek were the oxen that pulled the handcart. SO cute!

Here they came walking into the room while we all sang "Pioneer Children". It was a cute idea and it was fun to actually remember the pioneers on Pioneer Day!

We had a blast with all of you in Utah. Thanks for having us and planning so many fun things. We can't wait to see you guys again!

Norah is so cute! She looks more and more like you the older she gets.
