Time with the Thomases

The Thomases made the long treck from Sandy, Utah to Austin, Texas to visit us last weekend. It was a ton of fun as we toured the UT campus and hit all the tourist sites. We tried to get tickets to the Texas/Missouri game, but they were all sold out. Instead we walked around the stadium and got a small glimpse of the field. The stadium is huge (the largest in the USA)!!!!!!!
Just the three of us.

Norah was so excited to see grandma and grandpa Thomas and her aunts and uncles! She was hyper all weekend, running around and showing off. Clyde was a great help as he carried Norah around on his shoulders for a while. She thought is was pretty cool, too. Thanks!!!!!

Norah loves dogs! Everywhere we go she'll find a dog to go up to and pet it. Probably not the safest or cleanest thing, but she's been fine so far. She found this dog at the bat bridge we went to.

We took Derek's family to the largest urban bat colony in the USA. Millions of bats live under this bridge and at night you can see them all fly out in streems to go eat. Just standing this close to the bridge you can hear them and they smell terrible! Apparently, they eat 10,000-30,000 pounds of bugs and insects each night. CRAZY!!!!

Norah after her bath one night fashioned her towel like a "big girl". This is her new smile when I want to take a picture of her. She closes her eyes. Why do little kids do this?

We went to some pretty yummy restaurants while Derek's family was here. This place was Mesa Rosa. It was delicious. Everyone shared a meal because they are so big, so Derek and I shared, Clyde and Rebekah shared, Lori and Daniel shared....

...and Cameron and Norah shared. Thanks for being such a good uncle Cameron!!!! They were great sharing buddies.

Norah's hair looks so cute in her little pig tails! Looks like you had a fun weekend with D-Dawgs fam- I'm sure that Norah loved all of the attention.

So when did you start a business and when were you going to tell us about it?!

Wendy- your hair looks great! I love the color. You seem to be able to get away with any color of hair, lucky you.

Yeah...I was also wondering about your business. Good for you.
