We had a blast with grandma and grandpa (my mom and dad) when they came to visit a couple weeks ago! We did do many fun things while they were here. We went to downtown to see the capitol building and walked all through it. We even got to go in the Governor's reception office and look around. In the two plus years we've been in Austin we haven't made it down to see the capitol yet, so this was fun for us too. It was amazing to see all the detail work inside!
Unfortunately, the top of the capitol was being worked on while we were there (not so pretty for the picture).

After the capitol we went to the LBJ Library, sorry... no pictures. Then we went to Zilker Park to let the kids play after a long morning of sight seeing. They loved it! Especially Ben!
We rode the Zilker Zepher (a little train that goes through the park) while we were there. Again, the kids loved it!
Ben wasn't too sure at first.
Anyways, we had a GREAT time with my parents and we did so many fun things and ate TONS of delicious food! Thanks for coming mom and dad! We loved having you!!!!
