I can't believe it's finally here...

SOCCER SEASON #1 of I don't know how many!

Norah started soccer a couple weeks ago and had her first game last Saturday. It was so fun to watch her run around the field with her friends (Jackson and Ava) who are on her same team. They were so confused as to what they were supposed to be doing out there. Needless to say, we'll be doing little backyard soccer practices of our own. Anyways, it was fun to watch them play. Norah got so excited every time she kicked the ball, which was only a couple times, but hey, we were proud of her!

Norah after she's just kicked the ball.

Jackson, Ava and Norah... "What are we supposed to be doing?!?!?!"

Norah, in on the action.

Getting ready to start the quarter.

Ben, just hangin' out and watching his big sister play.

Go Norah! This was an awesome play... she just ran up to this kid and went after the ball. Way to be aggressive... flashes of myself at her age (sigh). It was too bad that right after this picture was taken, Norah and the boy crashed heads together and Norah came crying off the field. "It's okay Norah. You'll be the one making him cry next time!"

Norah being her curious self (takes after her father), just asking the ref a question between quarters.

Team cheer at the end of the game. This was Norah's favorite part.

Giving the other team "hi fives" and "good games."

Norah and her friend Ava. I guess this little boy wanted in on the action.

Ben playing at the field.

Man, was it hot!

After the game, we decided to take the kids to get some shaved ice to celebrate their first soccer game and their awesome effort. Way to go guys... we can't wait for next week!
