Norah's "Hello Kitty Birthday" Party

Happy Birthday to our sweet girly!!!! We can hardly believe how fast you're growing! It's hard to believe you are 5 today!!!

This year's birthday party theme.... Hello Kitty!

This adorable little girl is Ellie, Norah and Ben's cousin who is visiting from North Carolina. They hadn't seen each other in 2 years.... they were all fast friends!! It was really cute to watch them interact!

Bridal Shower

Yesterday I threw a bridal shower for my sister-in-law.... I think it turned out really cute!

Christmas Morning

We spent Christmas morning at Derek's parent's home this year. It was a lot of fun!!!

Derek had been back in the hospital with an abscess forming in his abdomen after his surgery, so he actually looks worse here than he did right after his appendectomy. Unfortunately, this is what our Christmas photo was last year. Oh well, I guess it documents our life at that time very well ;)

We moved into our house two days after Christmas and Derek started his new job teaching at BYU on January 3, 2012. He LOVES it!
